Wolf Quigg
Wolf Quigg
Wolf Quigg is a nickname for drummer, singer-songwriter Mike Quigg. Born in Tracy, California, Quigg was raised in a musical family, and has been playing drums for 20 years and writing music for about 10. Quigg credits James Brown as an early inspiration, but he also grew up on a diet of Led Zeppelin, Bach, Joni Mitchell and every kind of music in between. Quigg has performed with a wide range of artists – including bassist Kai Eckhardt, saxophonists Ernie Watts and David Binney and pianist Laurence Hobgood. He is a founding member of grunge-jazz trio Bastet, and active member in the Bay Area creative music scene.
